Business Improvement Techniques level 2 (Apprenticeship Framework)

KSA offer a truly unique approach to the understanding of lean concepts. The approach and structure of the training provided presents you with the opportunity to solve problems in many different ways, from taking a methodical, analytical approach (5S) to making you “think outside the box” by using the techniques taught in re-evaluating (Kaizen) and waste elimination (MUDA). Focussing on using not only your IQ but also your EQI to utilise all of your skills.

The training delivered was a blend of classroom and shop floor . In all sessions the candidates are encouraged to move from the constrains of a desk and participate in more active discussions with lots of interaction with their fellow candidates and the trainer himself. I was fortunate enough to have Keith as the instructor leading the training, with his approachable manner and ability to not overlook any detail so that we could see the result in the “bigger picture”, not only encouraged me to be bolder with my ideas but also my fellow candidates to think bigger.

As a result of completing the Business Improvement Techniques NVQ, I have implemented 5S, Kaizen, MUDA and GEMBA techniques into the day to day operations, resulting in; better inventory management (5S) significant savings in cost and time (Kaizen), elimination of waste (MUDA) and effective communication eliminating mistakes (GEMBA).

The support received, both locally in workshops and remotely via email, was exceptional. I would strongly recommend that any business looking to remain competitive take the BIT’s NVQ’

Just a short note to say how helpful and informative the leadership development programme was that we have recently carried out. In some instances, I have found that we have already had these skills in place but the training has help reiterate and advance these into much more useable tools as well as developing new skills as well.

I have recently been involved and successfully completed the Certificate in Management Level 3 Programme, which was provided to me by Keith Stevenson & Associates Ltd. The course has proved to be extremely beneficial to me, as it has greatly improved my managerial skills.

The course was delivered in a very professional and enthusiastic manner, which made the course very enjoyable. I have learned many new skills throughout the course, all of which I am now using in my role as a manager. All pre workshop reading material was sent out in a timely fashion, with full instructions on how to complete the tasks.
